Always Putting Values Above Business

Corporate Social Responsibility

Our Corporate Social Responsibility approach is two-fold – both within the organization and in the society we live in. This resonates with two of our 7H values - Humanitarian approach, and Helpful nature towards all people. Internally, we assist employees financially by assisting in the payment of fees for their children’s schooling, and medical bills. We also run annual health checkups and the entire organization comes together to help any KRYFSian in need (besides the contribution from the management).

Externally we provide financial assistance to NGO’s that are doing remarkable work, especially in areas of education, disability and healthcare. Some of the organizations that we have had partnerships with include:

  • Comprehensive rural health project (based out of Jamkhed Maharashtra)
  • Aashansh foundation (which focuses on education of street children)
  • Snehalaya (which is a day care and learning center for children with disability)
  • Society for the Education of the Crippled (SEC)
  • Sense India International

In association with Rotary International, following initiatives were taken up in recent times

  • 110 pediatric heart surgeries for poor children at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital Andheri
  • Providing buses and e-learning kits to society of education, empowering over 300 challenged children
  • Modern equipment for Bachhubhai KBHB eye hospital
  • Providing 112 e - learning kits including projectors and software, impacting the lives of 7000 children in Palghar district
  • Opening rehabilitation and learning centres for children challenged with both deafness and blindness.

Educate the Girl, Empower the World

KRYFS was one of the two Corporate Sponsors for “Educate the Girl, Empower the World”, an initiative held at Vidya Pratishthan Ground, Baramati, Maharashtra, on the 5th of October, 2017.

The initiative was inaugurated by Padmavibhushan Hon’ble Shri. Sharad Pawar. 3000 bicycles were distributed to rural school girls from Std. 7th, 8th and 9th, who walk more than 2 kms to school. During this public gathering, our CEO and MD, Saif Qureishi spoke about the need for empowering girls through education. Advisor – CSR, KRYFS, S. Ramaswamy was also a part of the initiative.

This was an excellent initiative to encourage girls to continue their education and reduce the number of dropouts.
